Man,..it’s been a long time since my last post! My days have been filled with our sweet little Ruby and it’s been hard to me to keep up with the daily life.
I plan to begin posting again regularly in the next few weeks, but for now, just wanted to drop a small post for those who asked about the details on my diaper bag pattern.
For those who are interested,… I used the Simplicity Pattern 2924. It was a great pattern, very easy to follow, and turned out exactly as they displayed in the photo examples. It had to be easy right?! This was the very first pattern I ever followed and had never sewn anything else in my life except for 2 blankets, a set of curtains, and a bib…I’m not kidding. So seriously, if you liked the bag, go for it! You can sew it! I did!

Welcome back to blogland!
Though I have no need of making a diaper bag any time soon, just wanted to say that I’m proud of you for jumping right into the pattern thing. Not always easy for more beginner sewers. The results were great!

I’ve been searching for a diaper bag using google. I saw yours and fell in love. I love the color and I love the details (bow). Very cute.

I found your bag on google and decided to try the pattern. You were right, it was actually pretty easy! I loved it! Made a matching changing pad and covered his wipe case with it too! Thanks!

Hi! I am in the process of making this same bag for a friend who’s due in Oct, and I’ve cut everything out, and am ready to start sewing, but I just realized there are NO directions in my package!!!! What do I do?!?! Did yours have directions or did you just figure it out? (If so, you are a sewing genius) !!! haha

Hey Abby!! That stinks!! Oh my goodness! I can’t believe you didn’t have any directions in your pattern!! If you need me to, I can scan in my directions and email them to you!! Just let me know!
If not, I hope you were able to find some directions!! There’s NO WAY I would have been able to do it without them! HA! Definitely not a crazy sewing genius…hah
