So, I don’t know if you’ve realized, but I’ve gotten a little behind on posts since Ruby was born…
Not only did I get behind on posting, I also got behind on regular life things,…such as mailing out Ruby’s birth announcements.
When Ruby turned 6 months back in September, I knew I HAD to get her announcements out. Yes, she was six months old, but I wasn’t going to let that stop me from announcing her birth and sending out something to honor our little babe!
It would be kind of pathetic to not send out a card, afterall, when what I DO is design cards,…right?
So, in honor of being late at things, and in honor of sending out her announcements when she was 6 months, and in honor of her being 14 months this past Saturday, I’ve posted some pictures of her birth announcements. Enjoy!
Since we were late on sending these out, I needed a catchy way of explaining how “behind” we’d gotten on getting them to our friends and family. My mom thought of the catchy phrase, “we’ve gotten a little behind”. Hee hee, ha ha! Get it? “We’ve gotten a little behind”, in sending them out, but we’ve also “gotten a little behind” (literally). Ha ha ha…my momma is so witty. And, with the perfect photography from San Diego’s most amazing family photographer, we had just the right pictures!
I added a slider card, with the directions to “pull” it off…
And then the announcement…
With the matching envelope, which was fun it itself with the flap being on the slim side of the envelope.
And on the back of the slider card, I even included out change of address…killing two birds, with one stone!
So there you go, my friends! Hope you enjoyed Ruby’s very late, but nonetheless finished, birth announcements!
